Orange has become my absolute favorite color for sea trout during fall and winter when the water temperature is still quite high. I have been fishing with this shrimp pattern for a few years now and I really like it and so do the fish. The UV resin on the back makes it very easy and quick to tie but of course it’s not as strong as if you had used ribbing to securer the back. If you don’t have a spey hackle, you can replace it with marabou or Craft fur in a dubbing loop, but the orginal is slightly better.
