Spinner Blade Perch Fly – Niklaus Bauer

his is one of my favorite patterns while searching for perch, but most predator fish love this pattern, zander especially. When the water is murky and most fly patterns fail because of the visibility in the water this is usually my life saving pattern. The blade in the back makes all the difference, I fish it with long strips or roly-poly but the best strikes comes when it slowly sinks to the bottom and the blade in the back spins perfect.
